The Integrated Waste Management Event is back for 2022 with a new location in Manchester and even more content than ever before! 

Attending the event will enable you to delve into the ever-expanding possibilities of the future and understand progress in other sectors and internationally – join us at IWM 2022 to help shape a better nuclear waste future. 

Highlights of the event will include an academic forum where PhD students present their research, judged by industry experts and a winner announced alongside a buffet and drinks reception on Monday 13 June. The main conference on 14 and 15 June will involve a mix of speakers, panel discussions and workshops.  Our gala dinner will take place on the evening of 14 June at the Museum of Science and Industry.

CONFERENCE

The conference will be held in the Renold Building, University of Manchester.

The Renold Building is a University building in Manchester. It was opened on 23 November 1962 for the Manchester College of Science and Technology as part of a major expansion of its campus in the 1960s

DINNER

On the second evening, there will be drinks and dinner held at The Museum of Science and Industry in the Revolution Manchester Gallery.

The Revolution Manchester Gallery is a unique glimpse at the museum’s themes, galleries, and exhibits, capturing the city’s history of innovation.

HOTELS

We have arranged some specially discounted rates at a few neighbouring hotels, which can be booked directly using a the links provided.

The rates are only available to be booked until 1st June any booked after this cut-off date cannot be guaranteed at the negotiated rates below, and rooms are limited in each venue, so early booking is recommended. (It is also worth noting that there are 2 major concerts taking place on 13th and 14th so availability will get much lower and rates are likely to increase across the city)
